Summary

Penguin presents this downloadable audiobook edition, of the number one, bestselling title in this new spin-off series from Percy Jackson creator, Rick Riordan. Old Enemies awaken as Camp Half-Blood's new arrivals prepare for war.

When Jason, Piper and Leo crash land at Camp Half-Blood, they have no idea what to expect. Apparently this is the only safe place for children of the Greek Gods - despite the monsters roaming the woods and demigods practising archery with flaming arrows and explosives.

But rumours of a terrible curse - and a missing hero - are flying around camp. It seems Jason, Piper and Leo are the chosen ones to embark on a terrifying new quest, which they must complete by the winter solstice. In just four days time. Can the trio succeed on this deadly mission - and what must they sacrifice in order to survive?

The best thing ever to be written by Rick Riordan

RICK RIORDAN'S BEST BOOK EVER SINCE PERCY JACKSON AND I LOVE THE WAY HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO GET US TO SEE THE IMAGE OF THERE LIFE AND I HAVE TO DO THAT FOR MY OWN BOOKS AND ITS SO HARD TO BE AS GOOD AS RICK RIORDAN.

Great start to the expansion of the Percy Jackson

Once I got used to the change in the way the story was told compared to the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series it was like being back in a familiar place again despite all the new characters. It was nice learning about the Roman gods as well as more about the Greek ones and the narration was good and helped with pronunciation.

The new characters were great and grew in their own ways throughout the book and just like the previous series you can tell it's building to something much bigger and I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

Good but doesn't pronounce names right

The story was excellent but the narrator doesn't pronounce the names right. I recommend this book to adventure seeking readers
