About this listen

When an archaeological investigation of an old prisoner of war camp turns up several bodies in unmarked graves, it should be an open and shut case for DCI John Blizzard. But on a foggy November morning, his instinct that something is not quite right is confirmed when forensics show that while most of the victims died during a flu epidemic after the Second World War, one of the deaths was far more recent.

I think you will either love or hate the narration.
The story seems much longer than it is, and it was a relief when it got to the end. It's not all terrible, but neither is it that good.
I am surprised I managed to listen until the end!

New author and narrator for me and I loved it .. very well written .. great storyline and well narrated.. I will definitely be listening to more in this series . Highly recommend

The story was ok, but very slow. I had to keep rewinding chapters as I found myself drifting through it without listening properly. Consequentially, it probably took twice as long to get through it. I don’t give up easily but this one came close. The narrator is generally quite good, but some of the voices / accents are really overdone, and I found it quite irritating. I doubt I’ll continue with the series.
