Summary

It all starts with a list.

A sex list.

Cassie Michaels comes up with a list of naughty experiences to impress her sisters and finally convince them - and herself - she's not just a boring soil scientist. Unfortunately, it also makes Cassie a liar if she doesn't tick off at least some of the kinky exploits before her sister's bachelorette party. Luckily, she's found just the man to help her, starting with number four - sex with an anonymous stranger.

As the owner of a chain of computer shops, Simon Traxel doesn't deal with mundane repairs, but when a brunette with killer green eyes and a list of sexploits frozen across her computer screen shows up at one of his shops, he's ready to get a little hands on.

Simon's more than willing to have some fun helping Cassie turn her made-up adventures into reality. Between steamy public romps that go hilariously awry, and sexy antics with kitchen utensils, getting through a to-do list has never been this much fun. But nearing the last few items means nearing the end of their time together, and Simon isn't ready to let her go...

interesting

Its definitely different. I was able to get through the book but was back and forth about how I felt about it. it really is a book about kinky sex, which at times was fine but got to be allot. I think when when the book kept referencing about how filthy rich he was I was like OK we get it he's loaded! it made the character somewhat annoying. I Found the book more interesting and entertaining when it wasn't just about constant sex. idk mixed feelings on this one.

Skipped whole chapters... not a good sign

Promising but boring.
It came to a point in which I found myself paying more attention to the narrators' performances, good and bad, than the story.
Sad, because it started so well.
Anyway... win some, lose some...

On the narrators:

Alexander Cedense has an amazing voice, buuuut... He is just too... upbeat, I guess? It doesnt matter if he's narrating a sex scene, a sad scene or the birth of a cow, he always sounds the same. He really needs some acting lessons, because narrators have a tough job, conveying everything with just their voices. Ans this guy really has potential, this just wasnt his book... Also, all of his female voices sounded like an immitation of a 5 year old, so, no thanks!

l loved CJ Bloom since the first time I heard her, this time was no exception. Her job is so good.

This Was So Sweet

This is a very cute book with HOT sex scenes. I want more of them. I guess this falls under romcom?

awful narration

the male narrator's attempt to sound like a female reminded me of a prepubescent nickelodeon cartoon character...pretty creepy given the subject matter. couldn't finish...glad it was free. read on kindle instead

Ok story if you can finish listening

the story was OK and the female narrator was good but the male narrator was plain aweful. i am surprised i listened to the whole thing which says a lot about the story. i nearly stoped listening on several occassions but didnt because i wanted to know how the story ended. Be warned! the male narrators voice was way too upbeat and his version of female voices was totally creepy! it figuratively and literally made my skin crawl. i couldnt stand to listen to him read another story. so i will be careful to rember his name going forward.

meh

I finished listening so that's good. I like Alexander Cendese as a narrator. his female impression is a bit weird but his raspy voice is sexy to listen to. CJ Bloom was NOT good. her voice was obnoxious and sounded way too valley girl for a woman in the book. it was grating and not at all worth the listen. the story was decent. not great. not bad. middle of the road. fairly predictable but it had good notes here and there. I had a hard time connecting with Cassie as the narrator really just made that impossible. I think maybe reading this instead might have given a better take on it as I just couldn't connect with the h. I might try and read something from thewlis author in the future to see if it is a story issue or narrator issue

But the male narrators female voice🤷🏽‍♀️

I liked the story. I love c.J. Bloom and Alexander’s male voice. His female voice is not really believable.

Adorable Story

Not sure why it’s rated “Red Hot” unless I fell asleep and missed a part. But please mind you, I fall to sleep at night to audiobooks so falling asleep just means I enjoyed and relaxed.

I really like the male narrator but not his depiction of female voices. I love CJ Bloom but EVERY time I hear a book with her, I go back to Sophie and Neil. Again, that’s not a bad thing, it can can just be funny if it’s a character like this sweet geeky computer nerd and all of a sudden, I’m picturing Neil....

Overall, this story was fun. I liked both main characters and liked the chemistry between them. Makes me almost wish I didn’t have a Mac anymore. I wonder if you can find a guy like Simon at the Genius Bar? I thought that Cassie’s list of kinky situations was a bit quirky but maybe that was because of her lack of experience with kinks.

I enjoy when an author brings a ‘cause’ to their books, like Simon’s sister. I think any time we can highlight and educate, even slightly, we owe others that bit of good. I also think it makes romance books more inclusive when characters who are POC, differently abled, on a large spectrum of sexuality, etc are depicted. I don’t know about other readers but I get tired of perfect beautiful and rich characters all the time. As much as I want to be taken to a new world, I like my worlds grounded in some reality.

Altogether, this was a feel good, HEA story. It was tame enough to listen to while gardening but racy enough that your blush isn’t just from deadheading your roses. I think if the story was slightly longer, some of the secondary characters could have been expanded a bit more to give the story more depth.

I would definitely listen to another story by Tawna Fenske.

Sexy story

I really liked this one, funny and sexy. However, I think the male narrator was a really bad choice for this book. He kind of ruined the sexy scenes. It would have been better if the female narrator did the hole book by her self.
