Summary

After a year of fighting across three different lands, Dante and Blays have finally brought Gladdic to justice - and in the process, they've unleashed a horror beyond all reckoning.

The enemy is known as the White Lich. He is ancient. He is immensely powerful. And Gladdic believes he will soon enslave all of Tanar Atain.

Their only chance to defeat him is to strike fast, before the lich has regained his power. But attacking him directly would be suicide. Instead, Gladdic has an alternative. Once upon a time, the lich was human, with a mortal body. Gladdic believes that original body is still out there, hidden somewhere in the swamps.

If they can find it and kill it, then the lich should die with it. But if they fail, the White Lich will rip the souls from the people of Tanar Atain - and turn his gaze on the rest of the world.

Brilliant!

I just love these books - the characters, the twists and turns of the story - I could listen to them all day. Very entertaining. Just need to know when the next installment will be ready!

Goof addition to the series

I am a massive fan of these books and will get through them within a week with no difficulty. This book is over a very short time period 1-2 months maximum the focus is on the current situation and there is no emphasis what so ever on things away from the current situation.

I was slightly frustrated after over the last books there seemed to be a real lpush to develop other characters and they were completely ignored in this book.

Its a solid book which keeps you going I am hoping that during the next book we see some of the wider issues and concerns.

Could have been shorter, but still good.

A lot could have been left out, but i get the idea the author wanted to stretch it over 2 books. i found quite a bit of fluff that had no bearing on the story and did nothing to develop it at all. Now I just want to know how it ends.

Why do these books have to finish.

Another great addition to the series. Even warming to gladic. Very good narration as always, really brings the book alive.

Worth a read

As with the previous books I was engrossed from start to finish! It's just a shame that it was ended where it did :( there was so much more I was hoping to find out! I will just have to wait for the next one....

I love this series!

This series has quickly jumped into my top 5 book series of all time. The narrator is extremely good at his job and keeps me immersed in the story with the whitty banter between the characters and how he portrays them. I can't wait for the next book in the series I hope it's out soon!
