Okay

I enjoyed most of this book and the narration was good. However, the ending left a lot to be desired and I listened to the last few chapters again a couple of times to see if I had been distracted and missed something. It is a shame because the earlier content was twisty and turny and character building was there too.

Intriguingly Weird

I don’t write a huge amount of reviews, but wanted to make a few observations about The Liars because 1) could not stop listening and 2) could not quite figure out who was doing what and to whom. The grainy characters are a mixture of brilliance, madness, deception, stupidity and humor. It is clear that this is a first in a series and will look forward to next installment. Narrator is excellent.

Awful

Couldn’t finish. Didn’t care. Annoying narrator-no changes to voice. Men & women were exactly the same. Sometimes it was hard to tell who’s point of view you were listening to, but the story was so tedious, you didn’t care! Worst part is I’ve apparently filled my quota of returns, so I can’t even exchange it. This is after taking a 2 month hiatus from Audible because I was so frustrated with the book selections they’d been suggesting. My advice to Audible, take another look at your algorithm because it’s lousy.

great story

Nice little weaving of a story! The characters were great and narration was perfect. Ending tied things up nicely.

overall the book has a good story .

I did not want to stop listening. However, the narrator was unbearable. I had no choice to continue listening. As I saw in a review before purchasing I felt the same way as the reviewer. I could not distinguish who was the character speaking. I would have to rewind to catch who was the character speaking.

Eeeeuuuuwwww!!! 😳😳😳

I found the book ridiculous in the beginning and wanted to bash Ava's face in...my word what a negative sly cow, I swear I've worked with her!!!

As it grew I honestly did not see the twists coming, so I have to commend the writer for the plots. It was a bit long winded but towards the end I had to concentrate & sometimes re-listen to a chapter, that makes it a good book in my world.

Twists and Turns Galore!

Yep, it’s a winner. If you like mysteries and thrillers, this is for you. I would recommend it for those who like this genre.
