Summary

I have all that money can buy. Power, sexy women, and toys. All kinds of toys. Everything is perfect...or, at least, it is until the exclusive Lesbian Billionaires Club I belong to gives me an ultimatum - stop the revolving door of women or leave the group.

Insisting I settle down is crossing the line, and I want none of it. At least, until she comes into my life. Suddenly, I have someone I crave, a woman I can’t stop thinking about, that I must have for my own. I won’t take no for an answer.

The Lesbian Billionaires Club is a stand-alone romance with a happy ending. It’s the first in the TLBC series and introduces the members of the club. You can listen to it on its own, but you’ll want to listen to the others once you get a taste of the lesbian billionaires.

Fun story, excellent narration

Madison (not her real name) is a media tycoon, whose reputation as a lesbian Romeo is embarrassing the other members of the lesbian billionaires secret club she belongs to. They ask her to stay out of the media (it sounds a lot like going back in the closet) and settle down with a nice woman or get out of the club. At first angered, Madison decides to give the settling-down idea a go when she meets Claire, a supposedly straight and utterly gorgeous waitress.

I don’t usually go for arrogant characters but I kinda liked it in Madison. She’s got so much money and power she could be completely blasé, but the possibility of losing the club makes her vulnerable, as does the fact that most women are only interested in her for her wealth and status. She’s so resigned to this that Claire’s sincerity takes her by surprise, and that’s something I liked about her.

The only way to enjoy this story is to suspend disbelief, there’s not much that sounds plausible (or maybe it is, I don’t know that many lesbian billionaires), but it doesn’t really matter. There are a lot of extremely sexy scenes and some unexpectedly grimy crime action. This would probably be a 3* novel if I had read it, but the narration is excellent, so 3* for the book, 5* for the narration and an overall total of 4*. And since this is the first book in a series and the ending is open, I’m looking forward to listening to book 2, The Lesbian Billionaires Seduction, as soon as it is in audio.

Great storyline, great narration

Captivating storyline. Started out a bit rocky for me, with some very stalker-ish behavior from Madison, but I was hooked!! I finished it in two sittings so that was nice as well. Can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out on audio.

The narration is also superb, although I can’t get over how Annis pronounces the word “sorry”, I have to laugh!!

Hoping for more!

A very enjoyable story that is well written. Narration is great. Some peculiar choices of pronunciation and not much change between characters. However it is still easy to tell the difference. Great listen. I hope for more to listen to!

Fun listen! Can't wait to get into the next LBC

I went into this not knowing what I was getting myself into and I wound up really enjoying this book. The story and premise was interesting and hooked me in just when I needed it. The cover art is a bit misleading because the main character is described as butch and the cover model is clearly super fem. Not that it matters but I thought it was worth mentioning. I would have enjoyed more description on Madisons looks but it kind of left it up to you to decide what she looked like. There is tons of sex! Hot sex. I normally feel weird listening to sex being narrated to me but I really enjoyed it in this story. So if you're not about hot lesbian sex move along. lol! Loved the story and honestly Madison just reminded me of Richard Gere in pretty woman... They both wound up rescuing eachother like Julia Roberts says in PW. Fun listen!

Narrator

I think I overall this would have been much better with an experienced narrator. For this type of book someone who can do all accents and be sexy as hell. There are a handful that come to mind as the act the parts so well but my top picks are either Abby Craden or Nicola Victoria Vincent. Would love to listen again with one of them narrating

The Voice

A great book WHEN you read it. I really wished they gotten someone with a deeper voice.. Madison was always a crazy sexy butch but hearing her like this does not do the book any favors. In this audio book hearing the word "against" had my teeth grinding. They obviously attempted to sound as American as possible. Nice try. However this would have been the prefect voice for book 3 of the Lesbian Billionaires Club. Great book, poor choice in the reader..

Glad I finally listened..

This booked flowed perfectly, just purchased the second book actually in hopes to hear maybe an update for Madison and Claire. If not I’m sure I won’t be disappointed based on the summary. I think the cover is really fitting for the story.

This is a much better read than a listen

Wow. I'm sorry to say this is a situation where the narrator didn't enhance the experience of the book, but detracted from it. I re-read my review of the novella and was in love with it. The listen made me wonder why I enjoyed it so much. There was almost no voice differentiation for the characters and narrator Senn Annis's delivery was generally flat. The story seemed cheesy at times and not sexy like it was while reading it. One thing that was distracting - and quickly became irritating - was though Annis said the word "again" in the commonly used way, when she would say "against" she pronounced it "Uh-GAIN-st" - which is very uncommon. And because author KC Luck used that word quite often - it got to where it took me out of the story when she would say it. The only time the narration worked was when - in moments of passion for the Claire character - Annis would groan or moan and that was sexy. This was supposed to be an erotic novella, after all. But beyond that - ouch. It honestly pains me to write reviews like this because I'm always rooting for the author (especially smaller indie publishers) to do well. If you're going to experience this - and I do still recommend it - definitely go with the written version.

Rocky Start But Cute Ending

The main lady is soooo horny in the beginning of this book, that I had a hard time connecting with her, especially with how she thinks. But it all came together quite nicely when she came across her love interest, and from there it all ended well.

Sexy secret lesbian club was a great listen!

Had I not read the author’s other books, I would have never picked this one up. First, the premise and the cover of the book did not appeal to me. With that said, I am very glad that I gave the book a go as I enjoyed it very much. I also plan on listening to the second book in the series. I thought the narrator was excellent and would listen to her again.

Blah

I did not enjoy this book. The main character Madison is supposed to be a butch lesbian but she sounds very soft. The way she kept speaking of her wealth and power was totally annoying. The story line was basic. I was not WOWED at all. Every thing was very BLAH......even the sex. Not realistic lesbian sex at all.
