About this listen

The journey of Erik the Viking is almost done but the Norns have not yet finished spinning and their webs threaten to engulf Erik, his family and his growing clan. He may be getting old, but Erik is still a force to be reckoned with and when others falter, the last Viking in the New World is there to steer the clan to safety.

This is the last audiobook in the saga that has been the story of Erik the Navigator.

Not my favourite Hosker series. I’ve listened to the Medieval English ones a couple of times. This one was more predictable; somewhat repetitive, and less interesting m, albeit on different islands and camps. There were so many new characters all the time but at the start no family and character development except for the main lead. The injuries were gruesome. First time I’ve been glad a series ended. The American accents for the native Indians were grating and unrealistic

The initial story in the Orkneys and the family thread throughout the series.

This series, as in my opinion, is another excellent series of books by Griff Hosker, having listened to most of his books, I enjoyed the series and found it hard to stop listening to it, Well done Griff
