After hearing that Reese Witherspoon was turning this into a series, I was excited to read it. However the narrator’s voice is extremely underwhelming and monotone. She didn’t quite grasp the suspense or build in atmosphere. Her voice made me feel uninterested and made me sleepy! The storyline is a constant journey of mystery solving with a dramatic and heart wrenching ending. Maybe it would’ve been better to read the book. Looking forward to seeing what they do with the series.
