Im well past a couple hundred books that I’ve listen to on this app, but this one is special

Honestly one of the most gripping reads of my life

haven't listened/read a fantasy book for a few years, tried one a couple years ago and lost interest. this was the first I've read/listened to since and I ended up buying the whole trilogy and am listening to the 4th installment of this book series. love the writing, the delivery and the world michael webb has created. give it a listen if you're getting back into fantasy. great te entry point but also great story if you're already a fan of the genre.

refreshing

I honestly loved this book, exactly what I was looking for, the world build was brilliant and the book remained interesting throughout. I don't know how this has so few reviews but it's a throughly compelling story and better than a LOT of books I have listened to recently in this genre.

Hidden Gem

Was expecting a book about Assassins not how to build a medieval grocery market or how the economy of of ye olde world works.

Worst read ever!!

Yeah it's alright, the fight scenes are cool and the main character has an interesting journey.

The story goes from point A to point B very jerkily, the motivations for the villian character are odd

the shadow knights themselves make very very little sense, they were a shadowy group that plot in the shadows but also uphold a strong moral code being good to your fellow man and follow the American way.... it's really strange.

the book is also very bad at delivering what it promises, its not really an action book, it has aspects of that but ends up being more green grocery simulator (which it does pretty well)

I really like aspects of this book but it's a bit all over the place

it's so weird
