Awesome!!
Loved it! Anyone who has read any of the previous Shadowhunter books won't be able to resist. The author pulls the reader into every story she writes about the shadow world, her characters are always interesting and it's hard to pick a favourite but if it has Herondales, Lightwoods and Carstairs then it's definitely going to have an adventure. I've read all Cassie Claire's books so far and haven't been disappointed. The narrator did a good job and has a soothing tone, she also gives each character their own voice, which is great. If you haven't read any of the shadowhunter series then your missing out, I can't wait to start the next book!

Wonderful Writing, Sublime Narration

Great to be back in the Shadowhunters universe
As always Cassandra Clare has done another great book in the Shadowhunters universe. It is gripping and has many twists and turns you don't see coming.

Fantastic story and narrator
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and Finty Williams has a lovely reading voice. I know the Shadowhunters books tend to mix it up with the narrators, but I really hope to hear her narrate the rest of the trilogy. Cassandra Clare did an amazing job with these characters and they all feel very distinct, which isn’t easy when writing about a second generation.

absolutely took my breath away
where to start with this magnificiant book! You know when something is THAT good it's really hard to put it in words .... the combination of Cassandra's cinematic writing and fintys' soothing voice just put me in a state of awe making it hard for me to put my device down. This being my first ever audio book I can certainly say I was not disappointed. From the very beginning you are plunged into this world of sheer brilliance and bombarded with emotions ; joy, sorrow, pity, love, fondness and best of all... the element of surprise. Just utterly beautifully sewn together the character the plot and it just really makes me appreciate literature even more. The power that the writer has to completly transport my whole being into this fantasy world I'm just lost for words . I also wanto credit the narrator she was very clear and I loved the way she changed her tone for each characters. I hope you too can experience the joy I did whilst listening to this book I simply can not wait for book 2!

My 1st entry to the Shadow Hunters story
I am ashamed to say that this was the first time I ever heard of Shadow Hunters but oh my days did I enjoy this book. The amount of times I gasped, was frustrated and heartbroken.
The narration was excellent!
