Summary
Welcome to the long-awaited seventh novel of the best-selling saga by Aleron Kong.
The longest and best book ever recorded by Nick Podehl!
The Land: Founding, Book 1 of the Chaos Seeds Saga, reached number one in the Audible store in 2017!
A mesmerizing tale reminiscent of the wonder of Ready Player One and the adventure of Game of Thrones
Number one in epic fantasy, cyberpunk, and video game fantasy
In The Land: Predators, the Mist Village has harnessed its power. With core buildings, Professional fighters, and now their own Dungeon, the settlement is primed to grow into a kingdom of true power and magic. The path to power has not been without risk, however. The Mist Village has been noticed.
Evil nobles from the Kingdom of Law, bloodthirsty goblins from the Serrated Mountains, an undead lord with a penchant for human sacrifice, and fanatical kobolds from the Depths all plot the village's destruction. The predators are circling. Richter's people are horribly outnumbered by foes whose own power has been entrenched for thousands of years.
Richter and Sion need to be stronger than ever before. Luckily, they are. New skills have been learned, stronger enchantments have been wrought, and the hundreds of villagers have answered the call to adventure. The Companions do not stand alone. While many eyes have turned toward the mists, wanting to take the treasures within, the Mist Village stares back with a simple message.
Come and get it!

Needlessly sexualised.
This author continues to show his arrogant, self important personality through heavily sexist comments and attitude of his main character. This truly detracts from the story of the book and taints the experience of a whole. I often found myself cringing at the jokes that are made here.

Disappointed
I usually enjoy the books in this series, but I found all the notifications and prompts in this book annoying. I love the story but think the story would have benefited from less notifications and such like.

Trashy
Didn’t manage to finish this audiobook because I had a seizure due to the fact I was cringing every 2 seconds because of all the needless sexualising of characters and events, seems the main story has been left behind and the author just wants to milk it as long as he can. Good luck staying awake through all the prompts and pop ups.

Decent listen with cringe worthy moments
Father of lit RPG? Doesn't mean that they are good at it. Having read the other books in the series this one is no better. Despite being so long, there is very little substance and a whole lot of repetition... This book has incest, beastiality, orgies, rape, penis joke's, character deaths that are never usually permanent, and follows exclusively an overpowered gung-ho main character, full of self-centred arrogant American bravado ( Think wannabe nerd cross with internet troll ). Set in a world where women do all the house work, and the men get to brag about how many they have had sex with. Dispite all this there is potential and thankfully many areas are lacking in descriptive depth to make this an easy listen albeit a little cringe worthy and should not be listened to aloud.

It just gets better and better
Nick Podehl is a phenomenal voice actor and has smashed it once again in this absolutely epic story. I’ve gone through 7 of these books over the past 2 weeks and I just can’t wait for the next one (I’m downloading it at the moment)
All I can say is that you if you are a regular gamer (and even if you’re not, there’s something for everyone), you have to listen to this series!
