Not as expected

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I am a big fan of the BBC drama The Paradise and wanted to find out the roots of the story, however even though I expected vast differences in the tale, it was for me the over dramatisation and sound that distracted from the story. I seemed to rush through the plot and I was left feeling was that it, strange ending!

Was The Ladies' Delight (Classic Serial) worth the listening time?

Yes, for all Paradise Fans, however I would prefer to have heard Emille Zolas words in audio rather than a dramatisation of his work.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
