Magic doesn't always play by the rules.

Gwyn Jones is perfectly happy with her life in Graves Glen. She's formed a powerful new coven with her family; she's running a successful witchcraft shop, Something Wicked; and she's mentoring some of the younger witches in town. As Halloween approaches, there's only one problem - Llewellyn 'Wells' Penhallow.

Wells has come to Graves Glen for two reasons: to re-establish his family's connection to the town and to make a new life for himself away from his father. But when he opens a magic shop of his own just across the street from Gwyn's, he quickly learns that going up against her won't be as easy as he thought . . . especially after an accidentally magic-inspired - and very hot - kiss.

While Gwyn and Wells are fully committed to their witchy rivalry, they soon find themselves thrown together once again to deal with the sudden appearance of a mysterious new coven and Gwyn's growing concern that something - or someone - is messing with her magic . . .

I was enjoying the story, but the ‘Welsh’ accent is so tremendously bad as to be entirely distracting. So I cannot finish this audiobook.

I really enjoy the writing, the story and the characters but the narration really spoiled it for me, the “Welsh” accent was shocking and reduced my enjoyment. I also thought Gwyn’s voice came across as very superficial which didn’t suit the character

Great story, dreadful narration

Loved the story, thought it was a great sequel to the ex hex but the accents in the audio book were terrible…that is not a Welsh accent😂

Such a fun sequel!

Enjoyed the continuation of this series. The story is fun and not super predictable.
Sadly, the lack of a Welsh accent is disappointing and slightly off-putting. It flicks between American/Irish and Scottish.
When the 3rd book comes out, I hope that there might be a male narrator with a Welsh accent.

Fun but the narration is odd

I loved the first book and surprised myself by loving this sequel even more. Gwyn’s character is so well written. She’s funny, strong and kind. In fact, I think all of the characters were really well written. This is a feel good read. Totally agree with other reviewers that the Welsh accents were very off. Even this didn’t manage to put me off the story though.

Absolutely binged this
