Story
It is no secret that more than two-thirds of the shots a golfer makes are shorts ones: putts, chips, and pitches. Long drives may garner applause, but whether a golfer wants to win the Masters or just five bucks from a friend on Saturday morning, it’s the little shots that make the difference. In The Unstoppable Golfer, Dr. Bob Rotella takes the same wisdom and experience that have worked for clients like Davis Love III and David Toms to help you master this special art of short shots and avoid all the frustration out of this increasingly challenging element of the game.

Story
In the traditional sense, the norm for any newbie golfer is to begin their golfing journey by booking lessons with a golf coach or pro. This individual will then work on factors such as, Grip, Stance, Alignment, and Posture. All this is done even before you swing a club at a golf ball. Sure, these fundamentals are important as they unlock the key to your consistency. However, they also have one major flaw - no matter how often they are practiced, there is no guarantee that you will even hit a ball on the sweet spot!

Ever since his astonishing victory in the 1991 PGA Championship, John Daly has enthralled fans with his big drives, bigger personality, and "Grip It and Rip It" approach to golf - and to life. Usually seen with a Marlboro Light dangling from his lip, John is the unchained, unpredictable, unapologetic bad boy of professional golf. My Life in and out of the Rough is a thrillingly - and sometimes shockingly - candid memoir of a larger-than-life athlete battling assorted addictions (alcohol, gambling, chocolate, sex), his weight, and, perhaps worst of all, divorce lawyers.

Summary
The biggest paradox in golf is that the harder you try to hit the ball, the worse you do so. In The Keys to the Effortless Golf Swing, Michael McTeigue offers you a simple system of sequential body movements that produces a true swinging motion with every club in the bag. The result is increased distance and greater accuracy for all sizes, shapes, and ages of golfers for a minimum investment in learning time. The clarity and simplicity of McTeigue's frill-free approach to the golf swing leads the listener to a new experience of power and effortlessness. He truly shows how to build a swing you can trust and keep for life. If you love golf but have never played to your potential, here is an audiobook that you will quickly come to treasure.

Loved it..made tremendous improvement to my swing.
I am a 61 year old woman who has recently taken up golf. There is so much wonderful videos on the internet, but they are confusing... stressing different techniques. Re listening over and over again to this audio book has enabled me to adopt good solid practise with fabulous results.. I love how the author has broken down the golf swing into easily understood parts which you can internalize into your mind and then adopt into practise.

It worked.
I don't believe anything in golf is a "quick fix". I had really been fighting my swing for a few months and was very tense (went from shooting in low 80's to mid 90's in a matter of weeks due to listening to other "tips"). I listened to this book and focused on free relax arms that bend at the follow through. Went out to do one range session, and then played - shot a 76, focusing on relaxed grip and arms.
Definitely worth the time and I hope I can keep these keys for life.
