Summary

Meriwether Lewis was murdered because he knew a secret....A deadly secret.

From the author that brought you the best-selling Harvey Bennett Thrillers series, The Jefferson Legacy is the newest installment in the series and the first featuring the fully formed Civilian Special Operations team.

Harvey Bennett is back. Ben and his new team are hard at work putting the finishing touches on their Civilian Special Operations headquarters when they get a call: There's been a murder and a theft of a seemingly insignificant artifact. The team heads to Philadelphia to meet up with the modern-day American Philosophical Society, to talk about the robbery and see if they can offer help....

Soon, bullets begin to fly. Apparently the APS has been keeping secrets that point all the way back to the nation's Founding Fathers.

Artifacts Stolen

Harvey is back in this one, artifacts are stolen and there has been a murder. Fast action especially when FBI is called in.

Series

A little bummed that the ending didn’t really wrap up the story. But entertaining on a long ride.

Love these characters

I love this series and force myself to ignore the significant narration flaws. I wish they found someone who can enunciate, knows where to place infliction, and where to pause appropriately. I find myself groaning aloud quite often!

What A Voice!

Mike Vendetti has a spectacular voice for this book. I have read this book in the past and his voice is exactly as I imagined Harvey Bennett 's voice would sound like. Truly amazing!

If you liked the movie "National Treasurer" great

Twist and turns, what a wonder full audio book. The performer could add different inflections during the story, I found it hard to listen to. Once the reader got into the story it started getting interesting. Historical fiction I love, and this one hit the mark as now I need to download a historical book to listen to, Lewis and Clark. No this is not giving anything away, first chapters about this 1803 journey. So sit back and enjoy. And thank you audible for providing this story to me. Last in this current series is "The Paradise Key" same performer so hope he makes it interesting to listen to. All that said, a great story, thanks for another Historical fiction story, Nick.

Another great Harvey Bennett novel

I really enjoyed this book. It’s fast paced and well written. The group is investigating Jefferson’s treasure. During the adventure they team up with a FBI agent.
Read this book you won’t be sorry you did.
