Fantastic writing by Winslow. The dialogue is just so captivating and funny at times and the pacing is magnificent.
Also five stars for the narration by Titus Williver. His voice and intonation draws you in from start to finish.

Great little book with a twist at the end. Loved also the narrator’s voice. A moody noir that just needed a jazz background to finish it complete it.

A great writer, a great story and a great narrator - all add up to a perfect LA crime noir novella from the master Don Winslow. I'm so happy he's out of retirement and taking pot shots at sleazy Hollywood types and politicians through fiction. A hugely enjoyable three hours and I'd love to spend more time with 'The Janitor'.
