I characters are so believable you become attached to them - I absolutely loved the Island Swimmer but is equally as brilliant.

I read the first Lorraine Kelly book and loved it this second book didn’t disappoint it was amazing couldn’t wait to listen to it the and find out what was going on in Orkney and what all the caricatures were up to it was amazing great story telling and couldn’t wait to listen to it well done Lorraine thank you so much hurry up and write the next your pure dead brilliant 🤩 happy writing the next

Such a joyful story - recommend this to one and all - lovely encapsulation of beautiful Orkney and found myself transported

I really enjoyed this book and the story was good. Lorraine is a very good narrator. I did feel the word 'PEEDIE' was used far too much, to the point where it started to grate on me somewhat. I know it's an Orkney word, but I felt it was used whenever possible, when others similar, could have been used for variation. Lorraine is a talented writer and I just wanted to make this small, peedie point. :)
