A brilliant, gripping stand-alone novel from the Sunday Times best-selling author of Caught.

Matt Hunter's life has already been blown apart once. A fight, a friend in trouble and the dull crack of someone's skull on the concrete cost him four years in jail, and a small sliver of his soul.

When Matt got out he set about rebuilding his life. He carved himself a job as a lawyer and fell in love with a beautiful woman. The break in the road seemed only to have made him a stronger person.

But now someone is following him, and Matt realises that his new existence is under threat. Suddenly Matt can't trust anybody - least of all those he loves....

i really enjoy Coben's books despite the sometimes corny & cliche... he's brilliant at keeping the story flowing and wanting to know what happens next... I think they need to look at who they are picking for narrators though a few of his books the narration is average at best... the taxi driver's accent?... I'll leave it there

Another good Coben. book

Narrators voice was too up and down making it difficult to listen to at times

Well written. Brilliantly narration, no trouble understanding at all. Keeps you gripped right until the end.

Overall I really enjoyed this book.
I found it a little odd on the beginning as it was narrated in the third person but once it got going it was a good listen. Lots of twists and turns right up to the end.

Great listen

Far fetched theme. Not up to Harlan”s best. Narrator was poor and not ingratiating and boring.

Let down
