An utterly addictive and twisty thriller, full of dark family secrets and deadly stakes. Perfect for fans of One of Us Is Lying and Knives Out.

She came from nothing.

Avery has a plan: keep her head down, work hard for a better future. Then an eccentric billionaire dies, leaving her almost his entire fortune. And no one, least of all Avery, knows why.

They had everything.

Now she must move into the mansion she's inherited. It's filled with secrets and codes and the old man's surviving relatives - a family hell-bent on discovering why Avery got 'their' money.

Now there's only one rule: winner takes all.

Soon she is caught in a deadly game that everyone in this strange family is playing. But just how far will they go to keep their fortune?

A good read

Interesting idea that holds your attention but any drama is anticlimactic. A little disappointed with the ending. Not a bad read overall but could have been better

Disappointing

Bit of a teenage drama. Honestly found myself getting frustrated at bits that could have been so much more but maybe just aimed at a far younger audience

I was disappointed honestly

Okay so you’re given billions of dollars, and all you can think about is how hot some guys are... really... I like the idea of the puzzles... but even so... this book could have been so much more.

Welll it was not bad

Not really impressed, but I could see myself picking up the sequel eventually. Unless I forget all about it

excellent narrator , engaging story ,,however

the narrator did great job,
good thing the chapters were short , and the story moved fast, however
after 80% i got bored,
and i didn't like the romance or the past story of the brothers.

the ending was interesting.
i want to see more of xander .

Bland riddles and zero emotion

Didn't enjoy the narration. The plot lines fell short of being page-turners. No emotion from any character so therefore I did not care about any of them or what happened.

Had to force myself to finish it. Not for me.

Mid

I liked the plot twist but it was too slow but apart from that it was a very good audio book
