INTRODUCING YOUR NEXT OBSESSION.....
THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS HAYES CAMPBELL.
To the media, he's the enigmatic front-man of a record-breaking boyband.
To his fans, he's the boy of their dreams.
To his label, he's gold-dust.
And to Solène Marchand, he's the pretty face that's plastered over her teenage daughter's bedroom wall.
Until a chance meeting throws Hayes and Solène together....
The attraction is instant. The chemistry is electric. The affair is Solène's secret.
But can it really stay that way forever?

Story is fun but narration needs work
Really enjoyed this book and it kept me captured throughout. However, the English accent is really quite painful. Think it would have been better and more engaging if there was someone else. Made me nearly stop at times but the story kept me listening.

Easy fun listen (read)
Overall it was quite good, enjoyable to listen to although quite an abrupt end. However the English accent was borderline insulting. It was so poor that I almost had to stop listening multiple times

Sadly operated!
The storyline was lacking. I didnt enjoy the ending. Wouldn't read again! Disappointing, thought I'd read before the film as books are usually better. Maybe the film will be better 🤔

I wish I hadn’t listened to the whole thing
I downloaded after seeing the film trailer. I feel disappointed that I listened the whole way through. The premise was good but the content was repetitive (I cried, I laughed at that, “hi” to each other constantly). It’s showy and urelatable. Solene is probably the most unlikeable book character I’ve ever come across, condescending, narcissistic, a privileged ‘victim’ with morales and values that flip and change every two minutes.
Not related to the written book but the narration was beyond the pail! The constant accent changes from American to horrendous English and French and pronouncing every single venue/wine/designer in the relevant accent became increasingly annoying.
Wouldn’t recommend

Fine, but icky at points…
I found it ok, but struggled to find the relationship okay… She keeps referring to him “a boy”, also in her mind, would have have felt less icky if she actually saw him as a man…
Fine, if you can ignore the ick and english accent 😉

Well Done Robinne Lee
The warmth and ease of Robinne Lee voice makes the story that much more interesting. RL switches between characters effortlessly making you believe more than one person is narrating the book. Love the story. Love the writer. Definitely recommend.
P.S RL - Why? 😩😊

Sublime
Oh how I love this book. The writing and character driven narration is stunning. Anxiously awaiting Robinne Lee's next work of art.

It was repetitive
I’m hoping the film when it is released has more of a story. More of the emotional angle
