Originally I had read the book but coming in with this book rather than the first one. This time I started off by listening to the first book in the series and then binge listened to the series. It was so much better this way and I got a better grasp of the characters and where they were going. What I am loving about the series, which I don't think I picked up when reading was the sub characters. This one was so moving and really poignant.

Enjoyed this far more then the Glass daughters. the narrator didn't try any more ridiculous accents and the story was harder to predict.
listening to the snow and ice forecasts during a heatwave was something. But this kept me hanging to the very end

I really enjoyed this. The second Dove Milson book by DE White has a great storyline and characters. Lots of police procedure and imaginative murders. The excellent narrator on this audio book puts the icing on the cake.
