About this listen

As personal assistant to a powerful alpha of a large pack, there are certain rules Jamie has for himself to make sure he’s successful at his job.

First, nothing and no one gets to the alpha without his say-so.

Second, schedules will be enforced for everyone. At all costs.

Third, a certain Enforcer with an enticing scent and scarred face is not to be stared at, drooled over, and/or daydreamed about.

And fourth, human hunters are never, ever mate material—no matter what their smiles or Southern drawls do to him.

But what if his own rules are preventing Jamie from finding something unique and magical and hotter than he could ever imagine? Because being caught between a grumpy cougar and a dangerous hunter was the last place Jamie thought he should be...but it might just be exactly where he needs to be to find both of his fated mates.

The Hunter and His Mates is the fourth book in the best-selling Kincaid Pack series, which is most enjoyable when listened to in order. This installment is an MMM romance featuring a scentless human trying to make a home in a pack of shifters, an Enforcer with mild PTSD and a possessive streak a mile wide, and the sweet little hawk who adores them both.

I loved this book! The first half was the same timeline as the previous books, so nothing new storywise, but it didn't bother me, since it was needed to get into the mcs characters and relationships. The narration was amazing, especially that he did the storytelling voice of the mc which the pov was for. I usually don't like third person pov books, since it's harder to get in to their head and be completely immersed in the story, but the way Kirt Graves narrated this book was so amazing and made it just as good as 1st pov for me! :)

Great book and narration!

This was a beautiful and captivating love story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The 3rd act drama was gripping and was followed by a delightful HEA. The narration was perfection.

Excellent story 👏👏👏

My honest review

I enjoyed this book as I have the other books in the series so far. I liked how the story went further into Drake's PTSD and health and how he and the others in his relationship dealt with it. I also liked how there was more emotion during their personal moments as opposed to just being practically pornographic as some MMM books can be. Although it seemed this book was more focused on the relationship than the underlying pack issue that has continued through each book, it was still a very good book. The narrator was good as well. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.

Interesting book

This was a nice story, but there were many elements that could have been done better. The action times seemed to be rushed through when they happened and ended up being anticlimactic, instead of dramatic. Also, the intimate times seemed to miss the potential you can get from a M/M/M relationship (there’s many books out there where those scenes are amazing and are less clunky than this book). Narration was good, though.

Nice story
