A detective who knows the stakes…
Detective Peter Decker and his wife Rina are pulled into the situation when their foster son, Gabe, asks them to help. Teresa is his biological mother, and he knows she is in grave danger.

Now the hunt is on to find the kidnappers before things end tragically. It will end in an explosive confrontation from which no one will emerge unscathed…
Eleştirmen yorumları
"Brutal but thoughtful and well plotted, fast moving and well told." (Observer)
"Kellerman moves her gritty mean streets LA plot along with breakneck pace." (Irish Independent)
"Kellerman creates a claustrophobic atmosphere, against a background of seediness, violence and distrust." (Sunday Telegraph)
Made me cry. Sad the series has ended

This is the last in the series and so I stuck it out but it is a book that highlights Kellermans odd attitude to relationships, her style of dialogue is immature (the conversations between grown adults regularly feel like teenagers speaking) and this book is less mystery more ode to the series but full of gratuitous sex (which I have no moral objection too but its so diluted its utterly meaningless)
it's a genuinely terrible book and gets 2 stars because I think, all told, the series ended where it should and how it should.
Awful
Poor
