I mean, I don’t know. It’s been three days and I still don’t know. Maybe that’s a good thing? First 70% of it… yeah I’m in… narrator was fab ( I usual struggle with American narration (sounds robotic to me) but this was fantastic) I’m getting into the Rear Window Vibes, maybe cutting a bit of slack that it’s a guy writing a female and it kinda shows but I’m in… I’m invested. Then it just goes… it’s like I’m going to have a competition and the fan who wins can finish writing the last 30% of the book ! The jump is beyond itN I was actually raging out loud ….it was so ridiculous.

And then I kinda went with it and got into it again. A bit.

I still ultimately feel robbed. But I won’t call the cops, I’ll just let it go. That’s all I can say without spoilers.

The book took you through tales of what you thought was predictable endings or happenings only to surprise you and switch from first page to last. Riveting listen.

Outstandingly unpredictable

Nothing about the premise felt fresh, it was mostly predictable, except for some of the twists at the end that weren’t predictable but only because they were quite daft.
Having said all that it was a reasonably entertaining listen, if you’ve got a credit to use and nothing else takes your fancy. The narrator is easy to listen to

And then the twist came. I'm so glad I stuck with it.
