I thought it was a good story, the narrator e good, this author is becoming one of my favourites.

This book was spoiled by the narration, at times I nearly gave up on it the worst narration I’ve had in any audiobook I at one point thought it was AI that was reading the book. But saying that I did persist and enjoy the story.

The pronunciation of some words put me off such as foliage and a couple of others

It's FOLIAGE not FOILAGE! And because of that I couldn't finish it. Narrators should know how to pronounce words properly!

Good but didn't like narrator

I almost gave up on this book, mainly due to the narrator. He has a very flat delivery, which I could put up with more easily than the narrators who give audio books an over-dramatic delivery and a host of silly voices... What put me off, and almost made me give up listening, was the dreadful mispronounciations - after the third time he pronounced 'foliage' as 'FOIL-age' I was about ready to throw my kindle out the window...Just the thought of how many more times I was going to have to hear foil age... and bearing in mind that the action takes place in the Alaskan forest, that's a lot of foliage...

The story - although fairly predictable - and characters - also pretty predictable - kept me listening to the end, and I enjoyed it enough to want to learn how things ended up.
