I did find the sound effects a little off putting but quite enjoyed the story line. Never read one of her books but I’ll give another one a go for sure.

Firstly the music. I can't decide if I liked it or not. some of the sound affects made the story come alive like the phone bleeps but the woman moaning and the dramatic music made the whole thing seem amuter. The narrator at first seemed not to be able to read but then again at times seemed to pull me into the story. The story was exciting at times and I looked forward to finding out what happened next but at other times seemed run of the mill and a bit predictable. So this is why I have never listened to anything like this. For me it was like dipping into a lucky dip. Sometimes it was definitely better than others.
