Good read
liked the overall story. sometimes found characters and places hard to keep up with as there are lots of both. didn't detract too much from enjoying the main threads of the love story, betrayal and revenge which are the main themes running through this book.

Another great story of tje Bone witch
Still so much intreque going on with all the shenanigangs of the faceless and kingdoms. Cant wait for the next story in the series

so much better than the first one
I put off reading this book because I found the first one a bit slow for the first ¾ of the book. However when the app added it to the audible plus catalogue I thought I might as well give it a go.
it turns out it's way better than the first book! the pace of the book is better, its got a lot more action but at the same time is written superbly so you feel like your in the story.
It's just a fantastic darker fantasy book!
I can't wait to read the next one!

Good story
Good story but the me narrator really irked me, especially when doing female voices. And I found the small parts he was reading confused what was going on and interrupted the flow. Other than that a good second book, and am going on to read the third

Wonderfully written & narrated
The perfect narrator for this magically charged story, book 2 of the series.
Book 1 was so good that I couldn't imagine that book 2 could equal it; I was so wrong.
I have loved every minute of it and the only disappointment was that it ended.

better than the first
what an absolute improvement to the first book. thank god no one was dancing for 10 chapters.!! OK im joking. but yes. I'm glad the writer finally decided to focus on more important topics.
but the mystery that started with book one. is still... a mystery. so many questions that this book does not answer.
I'm glad we get to experience more of this world. excited for book 3.
the female narrator is way better in this book. she did great.
the male narrator still amazing if not even better than the first book. this guy is an absolute pleasure to listen to. I want him to narrate my life.

Good second book
Keeps me on the hook for the third book. I didn’t find narration troublesome. The continuation of the story was good. Enjoyed overall.

Full Of Character
The characters are so fully written & embodied, they come across as friends, people you know. Really appreciate this writers talents to breathe life into so many while totally keeping all the strands of each's stories entrenched & vital to the overall story.
Hats off to the Author! The reading performers are great too, really adding to each characters personalities.
Fab job all round 🤠.
