About this listen

Is the answer in her past? Or in someone else’s future…

Her body is found on Wednesday morning. Hanging from a tree. Halfway between May Beck and Falling Foss. Brady’s got one clue. And only one clue. Five tarot cards. But are they a message for him? A warning for the dead woman? Or a reading for a client? Is the answer in her past? Or in someone else’s future?

The Hanged Woman sees Brady challenged like he’s never been challenged before. He’s got Frankie. He’s got his small team. And it’s Brady. He’s got his demons…

These stories just keep getting better. The whodunnit plots are twisty and satisfying but the development of the characters and their relationships keep me coming back for more, plus I love Whitby and picture myself there when listening to the descriptions.
Hope the next book isn’t too far away.

Great characterisation

I was delighted to be back with Michael Brady and his colleagues. This story is intriguing and unique, featuring tarot cards, which have always fascinated me. The case is complex and gripping, and I couldn’t stop listening. There’s also a sad subplot involving one of Brady’s team. After the author’s passing, his daughter Elle finished this sixth book, doing a fantastic job. It’s a fitting end to the series but I'll really miss Brady, Frankie, Ash and of course, Archie.

Excellent narration by Luke R Francis.

RIP Mark Richards
