Summary

Amazing
The Hanged Man is a great sequel. As fun and engaging as the first part, and a bit more serious. I love the found family feels, the tender romance and the humor is fantastic.

Somehow even better then the first
I finished this book within two days, it was somehow even better than the first book! It really built upon the atmosphere and texture of this world, and painted some really dark imagery.
It even hit me in the feels a few times, even getting me to a shed a few tears at the end which is no easy feat.
Can't wait for the next one in the series to be released!

Utter perfection
Honestly I didn’t think this could be better than the first, it was. This and the previous book are my fave audio books on audible. The narrator is beyond talented and if he ever reads this thanks for making many a long journey better. I really hope there are more because ... as stated. Utter perfection.

Omg it’s so good!
I don’t feel as excited about a book series since Harry Potter 😱 so good and enjoyable, really love the characters and the plot.
Also. I love how the main characters are lgbt without it being the main plot at all, it just is (as it should).
Looking forward to book 3.

If you liked the first one, you're gonna love this
If you enjoyed the first book, "The Last Sun", you will love this one too. It is rare for a second book to be better than the first book, but I really think this is. Zero sex in it, so if a raunchy time is what you are after, then this is not for you.. but if you like a good story with twists and turns and affection between the characters, this is a great book. The world building is really good and I enjoyed it being a lot darker than the first book. I shall look forward to the next book in the series.

Surprisingly enjoyable
There's a lot you need to get past to enjoy this book, but if you can then honestly it's very good fun, surprisingly compelling and very well performed. The world building has improved from the previous title in the series and I am never upset by sexy gay wizards.
