Summary

Just because the gang's away on summer vacation, doesn’t mean the mystery solving stops…

It’s the end of Emma’s sophomore year at Dinswood Academy, and that means only one thing: summer vacation! “Glamping” sounds exciting and Emma can’t wait to join Martha and Sebastian’s families at a local campground, especially when she learns that Doug will be joining them.

When Emma and the gang hear about a local legend, they are intrigued. According to the story, a family mysteriously disappeared twelve years ago and rumor has it that the abandoned house is haunted. When the teens learn that Hampton House is near their campsite, they decide to investigate—unaware that danger lies ahead.

Join Emma and the gang as they search for answers, racing against time itself. If you enjoy The Crime-Solving Cousins Mysteries, Nancy Drew, or The Goonies, then you’re sure to love (or the listeners aged ten to fourteen in your life) the exciting action-adventure mystery series The Dinswood Chronicles by Ellen Alexander.

mystery

Loved the narration of Shannon Nicole Locke, who brings the mystery, suspense, romance and characters to life in your ears.

We meet four students Martha, Sebastian, Doug and Emma who go to Dinswood Academy, who are friends, who solve mysterious events. The four friends learn about a house in Clearwater that is said to be haunted. Making them wanting to investigate. It is as easy at they thought and how much danger they have put themselves in.

There is intrigue, suspense, gentle romance and friendship.

Hampton House Mystery.

A very interesting story by Ellen Alexander. 4 mid teens go glamping to celebrate the end of their time at college. Hormones are kicking in and their is soft romance but mystery is the main theme with a large empty house which is said to be haunted and attracts the teens interest and they decide to investigate some of the strange stories that surround it. A most enthralling story that keeps the listener glued to their player. Highly recommended. Shannon Nicole Locke is a superb narrator and does not disappoint in bringing all the characters to life.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.
