I can’t quite believe it’s finished. They seem to last a few hours. What a great standard the author and narrator set.

I much prefer the earlier Robicheaux books which were cops and gangsters and corrupt wealthy old families. I don’t mind the exploration of what is evil but the mystic and ghost stuff is way over done in later books. I struggled to get to the end of this. Suspect it’s last in series but I won’t be looking for the next edition.
