Summary

Do bad girls really have more fun? Surveys say no. The women who are most likely to enjoy sex are married and religious. In other words, they're Good Girls! But good girls know that making sex great isn't about acting trashy. It's about recognizing what God really designed sex for, and then learning how to reap all these benefits and joyfully enjoy your husband.

Frank and contemporary, this unabridged audio download of The Good Girls' Guide to Great Sex will give the newly engaged and new brides - and some veteran wives - a Christian place to turn to answer their most intimate, and embarrassing, questions. In a conversational style, with lots of humorous anecdotes, the book will show that sex isn't just physical: it's also an emotional and spiritual experience. And we'll learn why commitment in a Christian marriage is the perfect recipe for a sex life which is out of this world!

The Best Book I've read on Sex

Explores so many of the common pitfall with regards to sex. Spiritually sound content, which is something I've struggled with on some christian books I've read about sex. I would recommend this to everyone, men and women included, single and married. Awesome book!

Comprehensive

This book is practical, real, engaging and generally biblicly sound. It is strengthed by the fact that it is somewhat based on surveys of both men and women. A great read for 'Good men' and 'good women'.

So there's nothing wrong with me!

I've always thought that I wasn't the type of woman that was very interested in sex at all. My husband however have been constantly complaining that we never have sex and why that is. I always felt that there was something wrong with me and I could understand why. My husband got more and more frustrated and I buried my head in the sand and hoped that the problem would go away. It didn't.

I came over this book and it has helped me to understand myself more and also why my husband wants to have sex often. Nothing is wrong with me and I'm not alone! Must read for all newly weds!

This Book is Very Helpful

What made the experience of listening to The Good Girl's Guide to Great Sex (and You Thought Bad Girls Have All the Fun) the most enjoyable?

Even though I am male, I found the ideas in this book very helpful.

What did you like best about this story?

It is not really a story, but the best things about this book is if you want to be in God's will about your sexual life and have GREAT sex this is a very helpful book.

Which scene was your favorite?

The advise that Shelia gives, that my wife does, that is very helpful to me but HARD, is that she tell the ladies not to have sex with their husband every time they want it. All the others books on sex that I have read does not give this advise and are written by males. Ladies please be strong and loving when you do this.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book did not make me laugh or cry, but I found it very helpful.

Not a fan

Her voice is a bit irritating, the book is based more on virgins waiting for their wedding night and Christianity than I care for. Not what I expected overall.

What a difference this has made!!

I loved it and have gotten my husband excited to read/ listen to it as well! Sheila was awesome! (as the narrator and author!) The difference this has made in my thought process when it comes to having sex with my husband (who was sadly not my first) has not only enhanced but, I'm quite sure, has saved our 2 year marriage from a long unhappy road of God only knows what! Thanks so much for writing this book Sheila! Our "more than hats" are off to you!! 😘

not at all what I thought it was

there was too much bible quoting in this book for my taste. I did not get past the first chapter.

Very Helpful for Making Decisions

Helpful when trying to decide what should and shouldn't be done in bed. Although, the author does not give a definitive answer on what's "right" or "wrong" for most topics, she lets the reader decide. author appears to switch back and forth from a "women's rights" motive to "serving your husband" motive, which can be confusing. The full saving gospel could have been presented better (or at all). Then again, I suppose that's not intention of the book. As a whole, very worthwhile book for those with doubts or questions about the subject.
