gripping plot, excessive internal monologue

So the first chapter is basiclly a running monologue of the characters thoughts where for the majority of which she's smuggled across the tower and well the rest of the book continues in that vain. Which is shame considering the over all plot, setting and good to great descriptions of the various locations, genral atmospheres and action. Other than that the ending caused me to physical role my eyes due to yet another cliff hanger and not a great one at that.

so a good captivating book in the same vain as the rest, if you enjoyed the first two in this series so far you'll enjoy this one too. 3.5-4 stars but I'll round up given the over arching plot.

Story Predictable & Slow

This story has definitely been spread out. Predictable & frustratingly slow because nothing really exciting happens. Shame perhaps should have left the Gender Game story as it was

I like it

Sometimes through out the story it’s like the author forgets things she previously makes a point about. I don’t want to give away any spoilers but that’s my only complaint

Loved it

I am so in love with this series and the characters in it. I can't get enough. I would love a series that spans the years from the creation of. the tower and the time now. 😀

Repetitive

Same story as gender games in a tower. Repeats itself every chapter

Highly disappointed in this book

Predictable but darker

The suspense is...palpable. (If you haven’t noticed...it’s the authors favorite word.) still, the story is enticing.

more of the same

the disappointing part of this book is that it is short and could have been included with book 3 for a complete listen. Again, it ends on a cliffhanger but I am not going to listen to the next one because it is pretty predictable what will happen. It was an ok listen, entertaining but a bit immature and predictable.

wow

This was another great book in this series. Liana and crew are in the tournament and I love the intro of new characters. The narrator has gotten better with each book.
