Great story, terrible narrator

I liked this book the most out of this series but was glad to be on to the next collection that had victor bevine narrating. Found the narration hard to follow with strange flow of sentences and different pronunciations of names and places confusing and the American accent was just too strong for me.

Its Pickle, not Pie-cull...

I have never read these books in print so maybe Victor has skewed my expectations but Mark makes some strange pronunciation choice. Also Pickle should be a cheery bubbly character, not this gruff dwarf, as Mark portrays.
The story is great and worth a listen but don't expect the energy and joviality of Victor

Love it so sad

Would you try another book from R. A. Salvatore and/or Mark Bramhall?

Love ra salvatore

What did you like best about this story?

All the people fighting together

Would you be willing to try another one of Mark Bramhall’s performances?

Nononononononononooooooo!!!!!!!!! I think he pronounces stuff wrong on purpose

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

On yea

Any additional comments?

I am finally done with the worst narrator ever. Don't change pronunciation of words just because you feel like it. Back to Victor bovine yay!!!

Horrible narator ruined an awesome trilogy

Would you try another book from R. A. Salvatore and/or Mark Bramhall?

By R.A. Salvatore yes, by Mark Bramhall no

Who was your favorite character and why?

Drizzt

What didn’t you like about Mark Bramhall’s performance?

the naration was just horrible, the pronunciation of things just sounded like it was being done horribly wrong to be sarcastic.

Any additional comments?

This whole trilogy needs to be re done with Victore Bevine and I will gladly rebuy em all.

Bring back Victor B

Dude has a good voice and all, but my teeth grate every time he pronounces words. It's Pickle Bouldershoulder, not Pie-kell... djsidjsisksjjxbedhsjxhfuudneb ex zkej

Narrator

Bramhall is one of the worst readers I've heard he has no change to his tone during a fight or as any thing comes to pass In the book. He Diminishes the writing and the flow of the book

ugh...

OK, sometime narrator change is needed but after more than a dozen books in WHY change the friggin pronunciation of several names? Weak character voices as bad as it is and name changing is too much. I haven't seen it in print so idk if it is spelled pickel or pikel, but this reader has destroyed what one of my favorite side story characters.

Narrator needed to do his homework

Again, I complain about the narrators lack of researching before taking on this trilogy. It is hard to enjoy a work when, with every other word, you are either rolling your eyes at pronunciations or mocking them. I am sad to say that I am glad this trilogy is over so that I can continue with the previous narrator in the upcoming books. The stories are fine but when worm is pronounced werm it gets agitating!!

Narrated

I cannot stand the guys voice, I get that he wants to put his own spin on things. No excuse for pronouncing Pickle wrong.

Good, but still not Victor Bevine.

Finally on this last book in the series, I finally got used to the new narrator for the series, but it's still not the quality performance that Bevine accomplishes in the previous books.

It's so heartbreaking though. So heartbreaking.
