Unrealistic

So, I was enjoying the story until this book. With suspension of disbelief, the world the author created was interesting and unique, and made interesting points about gender rolls. This book made me stop reading the series, due to a few common situations with fairly well known sequelae that the author portrayed extremely inaccurately (PTSD and traumatic brain injury). These situations pretty much fill this book. With a little bit of research, the author could have done a much better job.

Lags

So, I have been a committed listener of the series but this one fell flat. Performance quality was good but the storyline lacked luster. I am hoping Book six will be more suspenseful and adventurous.

Series Starting to Drag

Really enjoyed the first book and even the second. But the further I get into the series the more it drags. That is unusual for me. I am so far in and already bought the books so I will finish but I am not looking forward to it.

Still Interesting

Even after 5 books I'm still looking forward to the 6th. One of my favorite things about this series is having 2 narrators.

Had to finish but long and boring

I was probably most bored with this book. It was a slow slow story in this book. I may or may not Invest in the next one because this one was so slow!

Stop licking your lips!!

Books 1-2 kept me captivated. But these last 2 have not gone so well. I doubt I'll make it through 2 more.

Goog performance, okay story, not great writing

I am enjoying this series enough to continue but after reading a lot of good authors recently getting through the uninspired writing quality is a bit of a struggle. The story is good, not brilliant, but the progression and development leave a lot to be desired. All in all gives me the impression a ghost writer is churning these out as fast as possible without taking the time to hone the passages beyond the basic proof read.

Boring. A filler book

This book was a disappointment as it was boring boring boring. A lot of musing by the characters that if I'd been reading I would have skimmed though. I hope the next is better
