Summary
And as the needles clack, and the garments grow, the conversation moves on from patterns and yarn to life, love and everything. They may be different ages, from different backgrounds and facing different problems, but they are drawn together by threads of affection that prove as durable as the sweaters they knit.

Get this book!!!
This is the most lovely, heartwarming, funny and inspiring tale that I have listened to in ages. You don't have to be into knitting to love the book although it inspired me to take it up again (in a fashion - just some groovy wool in the sale to make a scarf) after having been taught how to knit by my dearly beloved and now sadly departed Gran.
I didn't want this book to end and now I am searching Audible for something equally as good.
Definitely worth a listen

Absolutely Brilliant
I 'read' this book months and months ago and it is still in my head. Brilliant book by a brilliant writer. A must read!

Just dreadful
I’m sorry to be rude to the author and all those who reviewed this book in a positive light, but good grief, it’s just dreadful. So dreadful in fact that I’ve given up listening which is unusual for me. I listen to books as I garden or clean just to keep me occupied brain wise. You’d have to be brain dead to listen/read this drivel. It’s a Mills and Boon type book that is so outdated with dreadful characters that are truly unlikable, no humour and no plot other than man acted like a pig when couple were together post college, left her a single mum and then comes back 12 years later to pick up where he left off and you just know she’s going to forgive him and they all live happily ever after. Yuk. If you’ve half a brain cell and enjoy books of intrigue or interest then pass up on this one. C😬

A lovely and peaceful book with rich interwoven characters that you just can't help loving. Made me laugh and cry. The wisdom of knitting and life rolled into one.

A really enjoyable listen
I read this book a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it this unabridged recording proved to be the icing on the cake
Regina Reagan does a fine job of narrating this novel that draws the listener in to a warm and disparate group of unlikely friends
It was a real pleasure to listen to maybe some clacking knitting needles in the background would have been an interesting addition
I can thoroughly recommend this title so give it a go :)

The pattern of lives entwined makes for an absorbing listen.
A thoroughly enjoyable listen with characters who are believable and a plot line that resonates well with the challenges faced by folks today. A dodgy Scottish accent apart, the narration was good and well paced. A good book, even if you don't knit!
