Summary
Claire and Eva lead very different lives, but they have one thing in common - they are both in huge danger and need to disappear.
A chance encounter at the airport presents the two women with a simple but crazy solution: switch places and then drop off the grid when they land.
But one woman will never reach her destination.
A smart, tense and twisting narrative that will have you hooked from the first moment to the last.

Superior and Gripping
I enjoyed this book and found it to be different from the usual psych story. Two women seemingly unconnected but both running from something exchange identities. What follows is very clever and interesting and keeps the listener engaged until the very end. The only gripe I have is the narrator who at times really grated with a very specific intonation for some characters. This did not spoil the listen as the story is so good.

Surprisingly good
Generally speaking, the more a book is promoted by various book sites, the worse it is. So I really didn't expect much of this author I hadn't heard of, but I was desperate for something to read and the summary was intriguing. What a surprise to find a tightly written, well plotted book of which very little was predictable. I found myself both keen to read on and wishing it wouldn't end. Don't hesitate, it's one of my reading year's real finds.

Genuinely thrilling
The opening few chapters of this book were some of the most tense and exciting I have heard in this genre for a while. The book uses the well-established format of alternating chapters between the two female protagonists. It's a format I quite like and it works well here. I always wanted to know what happened next and there was more tension and a couple of twists towards the end. The narrator did a great job. It would have been nice to have two narrators to voice the alternating chapters though.

Brilliant book!
I really loved this book! The twists and turns were exciting, gripping, unexpected and thrilling. The ending really surprised me! The author has a wonderful way of getting you to think of a different outcome to the various scenarios, but the ending was the biggest surprise of them all!
I enjoyed how the author looked back at events that led to the present.
Enjoyed the narration too and I highly recommend this book.
