Story
If Melody hadn't run out of deicer that day, she would never have slipped and banged her head. She wouldn't be left with a condition that makes her sing when she's nervous. And she definitely wouldn't have belted out the Arctic Monkeys' 'I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor' in assembly at her son's school. If Dev hadn't taken the kids to the zoo that day, then the accident wouldn't have happened. He wouldn't have left Flynn and Rose without a dad. Or shattered the love of his life's heart. But if they hadn't seen the missing person report that day, they might never have taken the trip to Cornwall.

Her blue-eyed boyfriend, Joe, gives her butterflies, makes her bacon sandwiches when she’s hungover and doesn’t have a nickname for any of his body parts. She should have known it was too good to be true. Because one day, Alice and Joe bump into Zoe. According to him, Zoe’s ‘just an old friend’. Not disappointed
Ok the story is full of missed opportunities that just become a tad annoying but it was an overall good listen. Loved the performances especially Samuel’s Mum which made me lol on the tube 😊I wasn’t disappointed in my choice.

A beautiful trip on the rollercoaster of life.
Emma Cooper, writes with such depth and emotion. She can literally make you laugh, then cry, all on the same page. Sophie and Samuel, fall madly in love. Then through a series of misunderstandings and life’s cruel blows, they lose eachother. Can they find eachother again, before it’s too late? This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. It literally made me laugh and cry. Emma Cooper’s description of disability, is empathetic, well informed and true to life. If this book doesn’t touch your heart, you may well be made of stone. An absolutely brilliant, warm, witty and heartbreaking read.

Not what I expected!
Not what I expected... It was even better! I won't say too much as it had lots of twists and turns but let's say this, I always listen to audible in the car for about 30 minutes a day and that's enough for me, but I finished this in ONE day. It was read well, it made me sad, it made me laugh, it felt right when it ended. I LOVED IT

Really enjoyed this
The story is packed with twists and turns, unputdownable. A book to make me laugh and cry. It is very well read, bringing life to Sophie and especially Samual. Before I finish this book I was checking to find more by the same author and hope to read or listen to more of hers. I'm partially sighted so this one resonated with me in a way I didn't expect.
