Another home run by S.D. Smith!

An excellent addition to The Green Ember series! S.D. Smith’s stories engage people of all ages with a good mix of action, suspense, and plot/character development. The narration by Eric Fritzius really brings the characters to life!

A short story well done.

If you have followed the green ember stories, this is a great little addition to it. Make sure you read them all in order. These are good for adults as well as reading to your kids. Good is good and evil is evil, courage and hope are alive. ... till the green ember rises or the end of the world.

SD Smith does it again!

I love all things Green Ember! This book did not disappoint! I love the adventure and I love how the characters are challenged and grow through the course of this book. I particularly like Hayward’s role in this book. Highly recommend!!! This book will make more sense if you listen to it and the other books in the order recommended by the author.

A perfect compliment to phenomenal saga

We breezed through this tale of The First Fowler in a couple days. With just enough humor to keep you from despair, this tale keeps you on the edge of your seat as you are swept along with the rabbits of the elite squad as they fight for rabbit-kind and find their own places in the story. I am again impressed by the ability of Smith, in writing, and the narrator, in reading, to develop so many diverse and intriguing characters without making them hard to track. Green Ember books always feel like an invitation into the author's heart and home to have a story told just for you, and this one is no exception.

I love this book!

I love this book the night the only problem with it is I preferred Joel Clarkson’s book reading better. I think it’s kind of hard to figure out the characters when there’s two different voices playing them. for Instance Helmers voice is completely different from the main series and so is Emma’s.
