What enigma is concealed within the darkened halls of Heston Grange? And where, exactly, is it hidden?
With the thunder and lightning outside increasing in ferocity, Charles read and re-read the words. Like his name on the envelope, the words of the message within had also been typed - this communication contained no actual handwriting whatsoever. At length, Charles allowed his hand to fall to his lap, the message still held between his fingers. Had there been anyone else present in the room, the words would now have been visible to all.
The message read: "We know your secret".

Such a great listen!
Everything about these books are great! They’re so easy to listen to whilst at the same time have a great mystery to solve and an air of peril throughout.
I just love the pacing and writing style of Richard and Jake perfectly suits it as narrator. He has great character voices and he is a great storyteller!
I really hope there’s more to come (and soon!) from this pairing!
Also check out the Ruritanian Rogues books as they’re fantastic too!
This is my honest opinion on a free review copy.
A nice follow on from first book
I enjoyed this follow on story from first book on Heston Grange and the build up to the unpredictable ending.
A scavenger hunt for wealth or greed?? The "boss" had a plan and a back up plan to ensure his success. I liked how things ended up. The thirst of greed is never quenched. I liked that Charles and Matthew ended up together. Kristen made my blood boil. What a leech. I rejoiced for karma!! I liked that Charles kept his integrity to the end!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did an excellent job bringing it to life.
