Important and useful though could be better read
Lots of good content here, but I think could have benefitted from a professional reader. I wish I'd bought it on e-book where I could have focused on the key points, and made notes more easily.

Thought provoking, important book.
As a teacher, I was drawn to this text and pleased to find a lot of references I could think on and apply to my practice.
This is an important discussion to be had. It is eye-opening to realize just how much bias works ‘under the hood.’

Can’t stop thinking about this book!
This book just does not leave your mind. It has changed my views and opinions on bias and truly opened my eyes and really sparked a thirst to learn more and more in this area.
Jessica Nordell writes beautifully and combines insanely rigorous academic research with such an eloquent and interesting delivery. She has crafted such a well put together story comprising hundreds of studies to back up and enhance her points. I’ve been talking about this book non-stop to anyone who will listen!

Great polemic
Offered great views of non-bias, and ideas to address our ignorance. Inherent in the material seemed to be the extinction of dominance, which I think is less about being human and more about artificial intelligence, or Disney.
There is difference, there is inequality, there is dominance, superiority and inferiority - I believe accepting and rolling with these realities is better than attempting to eradicate them - viva le difference!!!
Narration was emotionally dramatic at times which I considered at times as irritating (look at me!), and thought it would be interesting with a different narrator. As a suggestion to Audible: You could mix genders and cultures to be different from the writers.
