About this listen

A Christian dystopian end-times apocalyptic novel.

Long ago, it was predicted that there would come a time when the people of the earth would turn against each other, that they would rise up and kill each other. In The End Is Here, that day has arrived. Learn about a world where normal life and the infrastructure we depend on has broken down.

Costume-masked killers have taken over downtown in such masses that they overwhelm the already weakened city and law enforcement. Anyone caught in their path is murdered without mercy. Caught unaware of the extreme danger, the city had their focus on the wildfires in the forest not far from them. Power is off, the banking system is shut down, and the nightmare begins. Ultimately, the violence and death lead to food shortages.

Follow two families, two brothers, a mom and adult daughter, and several killers as they live out the start of it all: the beginning of sorrows.

You may find our world is not far from theirs. Seeing the stories in the news shows it is not only plausible, but we might also be at the edge, ready to be tipped over.

Get to know the people, watch them live in difficult times in this Christian, dystopian, end times, apocalyptic novel.

So... The story is not bad. Apocalypse, humanity going mad, covers 3 of the 4 main necessities war, famine, death... No pestilence yet but I bet the second book will have that. I won't know as I won't listen to the second, if only because of the last chapter and the epilogue that tried to convert people to Christianity. I know it's in the description "Christian apocalypse novel" but I kinda hoped they meant it was just a novel based in the abrahamic idea of apocalypse (it's a similar idea in many religions). So, in conclusion it's not a bad story, but I'd suggest stopping reading /listening before the epilogue if you don't want to be preached at.

As I suspected trying to convert

I thought this book was a bit slow and hard to get into but it picked up the pace near the end and I will listen to the second book for sure
