I came across this book recommendation on tik tok a week ago. I divorced my ex husband a year ago and have followed a similar pattern to my parents lives. Part of me has always believed no matter how damaged a marriage is, it can absolutely be restored. I was the ‘Nag’. I was always on his back and in return, he would find ways to shut me out of his life. I adored this book. I’ve been praying for restoration in my marriage and I’m certain God will restore what’s lost. This book isn’t a Christian book btw. But as a Christian woman I am hopeful that this book will encourage my deeply in my journey.

I have just started practising the 6 intimacy skills but can already sense that it has totally changed my perspective on my marriage and filled me with hope and joy. I cannot recommend it enough and will make it my mission to self-improve and be a living testimony of the Lord Jesus through a happy and prosperous marriage. Who knows, I might become a coach one day…
