I fell in love with Rune and his growing wonderful, crazy and delightfully sassy family almost immediately.

Excellent companion book to the tarot sequence series. While reading the first three books, especially The hourglass throne, is beneficial, it's not essential to enjoy this book. As usual, K D Edward's characters are supremely fleshed out in a story full of excitement, revelations, and humour. It is a pleasure to read.

So if you’ve listened to the other books so far - this one is paved with nuggets of information that have me wishing The Misfit Caravan would just land in my lap already! Brilliant story and I consumed it all in one sitting - best day of my year so far! Josh Hurley really brings these books to life and I love how Max is a mini Brand in training with all his mannerisms. It’s a must listen from me! Right back to The Last Sun etc to re-listen and put all the nuggets together.
