This book and the while series are great for reading only

I thought I will enjoy the book by just listening. But this series is meant to be read due to the missed illustrations and form of the book

Great over view of the field of Economics

Taking a Econ course at the university, this audio title covers major issues in the domain of Economics. Need a cram in the facts and events that shape our countries monetary and fiscal policies, then this book might help out. This title has historic perspective, and explain the context to current theories found in the field and give much credit to our Nobel prize economist to key figures like Kuznets, Arrow, Ostrom, and many more, they really do shine the light on how they shaped the field. After passively listening to this audio title gave me a little more confidences on my exam's.

Gran libro

Muy bien estructurado, cronológico, con gráficos e ilustraciones muy didácticas. Espero que saquen también la edición en audio de The Maths Book. Estos libros son muy necesarios para acercar estas materias a los legos en ellas. Very well structured, chronological, with very didactic graphics and illustrations. I hope it would be produced the audio version of The Maths Book. These books are much needed to bring these subjects closer to the laypeople.

Great intro to global economics!

this is a fantastic bird's-eye view of economics as a whole. Great for me historical and academic perspective in that it goes into notable economists just enough to understand how they're accomplishments contributed to modern economics and explanation of their theories and concepts. Will definitely be listening to this one a few more times. also really enjoyed the narrator.

story

The book is slow going, don't get me wrong it's very informative but much like listening to a long boring textbook.
