Summary

I believe in love. It just doesn’t believe in me. I date. I’m all for giving guys a chance. I’ve just never met the one. Until on a spring morning in the English countryside, a tall, dark stranger emerges from the mist.

Logan Steele is all tousled hair, hard chest, and lips so perfect I want to reach out and touch them, just to check they’re real. I’m sure that’s a thunderclap of chemistry I feel between us. Did I mention he’s an Earl with a self-made fortune? A billionaire who works tirelessly for charity? And he’s so hot, watching him is like staring at the sun. But like I said, love isn’t rooting for me.

When I find out Logan Steele is out to destroy everything I’ve dedicated my life to protect, the chemistry disappears and the hope that had blossomed my chest turns to rage. It no longer matters that he quickens my pulse just saying my name, weakens my knees with a single touch, and that he might just be the greatest kisser that ever lived. I might believe in love, but Logan Steele is definitely not the one.

A stand-alone romance.

I Think im in love

So I read the book jumped straight to the audio. Because I had to listen. I had to hear how it would sound. And I love it. who needs a movie or a tv show, when we have audiobooks.
The Narrators make it come so much alive. bouth of them. But I have to say. I Think I have fallen in love with Imogen Church. Her performance is above and beonde amazing. This story has so Many emotions such big feelings. And She makes it all come out. Her voice is everything.
Louise Bay has made a perfect book. each new book by her is the best. everytime She writes a new book it is Better Than the last. And this is the best until the next.

Absolute perfection

So. I devoured this book in 2 days. 2 days! I literally couldn't put it down, I had to have words with myself to stop.

So what did I do when I finished The book?? I got the audio! oh how I adore these narrators... Darcy and Logan are brought to life wonderfully.

I've been waiting for Darcy to get her story and I was not disappointed. I don't know exactly what or how I expected her story to unfold, but I knew she would be a tough cookie who gave as good as she got. Oh how she did! Logan admits himself that Darcy isn't his usual type, but I think that's why they work... and clash.... and argue... and the heat! Jeez Louise! I needed a fan at times, the steamy scenes are white hot without being vulgar. Louise Bay knows how to tell a story and sell it. I was sold on the first page.

The highs will have you smiling like a fool to yourself, while the lows will pull at your heart. I adored this couple. They made me laugh out loud and they made me want to smack their heads together.

As always with a Louise Bay story, you will be left wishing it hadn't ended.

I loved the fact she got her man.

I really enjoyed this story and loved he didn't want to make the same mistake as his father. Sometimes it takes other people to make us see what is staring us in the face. As for the one stars. I do wonder why some readers diss what writers spend hours and hours and hours on for the reader's pleasure. We are always trying to please. Agonising if this fits and that fits, all for the reader's enjoyment. It resonated with me. Well done, Louise. Each love story is individual and this was one of those. And for those readers out there who gave this a one-star that's their choice. I'd like to read a romance written by them! Well done, Loiuse Bay. I ENJOYED THIS BOOK.

Female narrator got the Era of the book wrong

Why did the book sound like period drama, so disappointing.
Sounded like Pride and prejudice

I wasted a credit on this!

It wasn't a bad story. The sex scenes made me cringe though, deffo been written by a bloke! It's worth a read if it's free, but don't waste a credit on it ... Happy listening folks xx

Story okay

I found this hard to listen to. I find the narration very Bridget Jones ish and annoying. Also the way the British were assumed to speak was degrading. Glad this is the last book in the series if had been the first I don’t think I would have read the rest. The story and the links to the other books is good just the narration I didn’t like.

Don't judge a book by its cover!

Great story with some ups and downs. Plenty of humour to balance some truly heartbreaking scenes.
One of Louise Bay's best.
