The hills of Western Massachusetts contain dark and terrible secrets. Strange families keep to themselves and practice rites of ancient and unspeakable black magic. These dreadful and unholy rituals give birth to a monstrosity beyond imagination, a monstrosity that threatens mankind itself! Can a brave handful of intrepid scholars hope to confront the otherwordly destruction of “The Dunwich Horror”?

H.P. Lovecraft's classic tale is dramatized and brought to life in the style of a 1930s radio drama, complete with a large cast of actors, original music, and thrilling sound effects.

Great little piece of the HP Lovecraft universe, a dark glimpse into it.

Thrilling short story, worth listening

Some of the best voice acting I've heard from the Society this far, accompanied by disturbing horror description and solid monster horror!

I'm glad these people do what they do, I love these!

I prefer a story with focus on one person instead of a big group. It makes it easer to follow along with. The Dunwich Horror is quite the opposite on singular focus. Despite not having my prefered setting I still liked the story.
It tells the story of the folks in Dunwich and their experience with a weird family and a lurking cosmic horror.

Ape man and cosmic horror monster

I like these radio theater interpretations of Lovecraft's stories, including the joyful spirit, entertaining voice acting, and cozy atmosphere they create. But the mixing could probably be improved. Some sounds are too low and others too high so you sometimes struggle to hear (at least if English is not your mother's tongue) and sometimes your ears are hurt.

entertaining performance but uneven audio mixing

The story was amazing, the atmosphere was amazing, the acting was amazing, the whole thing was amazing!

I loved every second of it!
