I couldn’t even finish it and I always finish books. But the constant descriptions of what things was not like “not like this and not like that, but like this” was driving me crazy. And I can’t even count how many times the words “ never that” comes up. I could not get into the story at all, and decided to not put myself through the last 2 hours of it.

I don’t blame the narrator, she was doing her best with what she was given.

This was a painful read
