The latest book by STEVEN BARTLETT: entrepreneur, podcaster and Dragon's Den star

This is not a book about business strategy. Strategy changes like the seasons.

This is a book about something much more permanent.

At the very heart of all the success and failure I've been exposed to - both my own entrepreneurial journey and through the thousands of interviews I've conducted on my podcast - are a set of principles that can stand the test of time, apply to any industry, and be used by anyone who is search of building something great or becoming someone great.

These are the fundamental laws that will ensure excellence.

They are rooted in psychology and behavioral science, are based on the wisdom of tens of thousands of people I've surveyed across every continent and age group, and of course, drawn from the conversations I've had on my chart-topping podcast with the world's most successful people.

These laws will work now or in 100 years from now. Are you ready to get started?

With highlights of original interviews from The Diary of a CEO podcast, this enhanced audiobook edition of The Diary of a CEO takes you to the heart of the 33 laws for success.

Not Bad but Not as Good as His First Book

This book was ok, however Steven set the bar high with his first book so it was always going to be a hard act to follow.

Whilst the performance is great, and there are some nuggets of wisdom - anyone interested in self development should certainly read it, I feel like there’s something missing - and I just can’t put my finger on what it is.

The scribbling sound at the end of each chapter when the rule is being restated is annoying and there’s no need for it.

The missing chapter at the end that makes you go to a website and hand over your details is gimmicky.

Overall it just feels like a lot has been crammed into the book and the “love and crafting” that went into the first book is missing.

This is a must read! @duckyxx

I was so excited for the book being a fan of the podcast. The audio book is very well read and love the voice of interviewees. I will be getting the book too to reread and make notes as I like to do. Just gutted to not have got a signed edition.

The audio needs a pdf summary

Great book, really enjoyed listening to the audio. But very frustrating that it doesn't come with a simple pdf summary of the 33 laws to refer back to. Now I'm debating whether to listen again with a pen in hand or buy the text version of the book.

Absolutely brilliant

I loved the fact it was narrated by Stephen himself so you can hear the emphasis on the words that have meaning. I took many notes from many subjects and will be my second time listening to it. @bremadent

Went on a bit

The principle fo this book is very good, and worth a listen. Just a little disengaging in places, and for me a little self congratulatory.

Amazing book! Steven Bartlett doesn't disappoint!

I am surprised that this doesn't have more reviews. It is an amazing book for aspiring entrepreneurs or simply for anyone interested in personal development.
It surely doesn't waste your time with the generic self-help stuff. It has some great stuff I haven't heard elsewhere. Recommended!

Good common sense, explained well!

Really enjoyed this book. I’ve watched many dragons den episodes and listened to the podcast so I was excited to hear the book. Some things I knew but didn’t apply, some new things and also some common sense. A great listen regardless of whether you’re a leader now or you’re wanting to be.

The Best and Most Practical Book for Success

Never have I ever seen such a distilled down book of wisdom like this one! So many notes, especially the part where increased failure rate leads to increased success, Highly recommend this book!
