Good story

Daisy gets called by a dear friend who is outside her goddaughter's burning house awaiting the fire department. When Daisy gets there, the body is brought out. Just when it seems that it can't get any worse, Detective Crumple tells them that the fire was arson, and later they find out that the woman was murdered before the fire was set. Not supposed to happen in such a nice small town! Now the real sleuthing begins and all the red herrings pile up. Good but short. Stephanie Quinn is the narrator.

Good story

I really liked the story and that there wasn’t any sex or violence. I look forward to more in the series. The only thing I did not like was the narrator’s voice when she was voicing a male character. They all sounded pretty much the same and as if they were constipated.

A short, simple, clean cozy mystery

The Deadly Fiery Affair is a short, simple, and clean murder mystery. The story provides a good hour or two of entertainment. This is a cozy mystery, and it is not overly deep nor is it disturbing. The narrator does a decent job with the book. Her voice fits the story, and her characters’ voices, while not always convincing, are varied enough to avoid confusion. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Mystery closer to home, good story, good narration

More in the life of Daisy McDare. I enjoyed the partnering of Detective Crumple and Daisy McDare Watson. They played off each other so well. Her family was growing as well, and everyone was so supportive. This was a murder that was a little closer to home. Clues were all there, and the ending was not a shock though it took a bit for me to get it. Stephanie Quinn did another wonderful job bringing these characters to life. I especially loved her voice for Granny Annie. I received a copy of this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

A fast and fun cozy!

This quick cozy is probably my favorite of the series. Action packed with Daisy seeking the arsonist. The house is a dear friend of hers who's goddaughter was inside. Just when they thought she died from the fire, it's found her death took place prior to the fire. Will Daisy and Detective Crumple get to the bottom of this story? It's fast paced, full of quirky characters that we have grown to love and a real mystery until the end. Continued narration by Stephanie Quinn gives the series a great consistency and flow. It's a fun listen!

Great Read

The Deadly Fiery Affair was a great read by K.M. Morgan. Daisy is hopeful that the drama will cool down in her hometown of Cozy Creek. Unfortunately Daisy finds herself in the midst of investigating another murder case. Daisy is looking to uncover who the murderer is although they are trying to cover up the murder. I can’t wait to read more by K.M. Morgan.

Fire of Love

A house fire ruins a beautiful day for Daisy. The fire was no accident - it was used to cover-up a murder. It turns out that love can burn in the heart and the mind. I was gifted this from the author.

Another amazing mystery

Wow, didn't see that ending coming in this fabulous cozy murder mystery. The narrator Stephanie Quinn does such an amazing job bringing this story to life. The characters are well developed and the storyline is intriguing. I loved the twist and turns and how the killer was unveiled. I highly recommend this book and series. I received this book at my request. I am leaving this review voluntarily of my own volition.
